Be tougher!

I have been appraised and found to be average (hooray for being average).

I have reached my final band six gateway, just in time to have it snatched away from me (I could say) without pay protection this would potentially mean a yearly drop of almost five thousand pounds (£4,948) from top band six top band five.

In truth my appraisal went better than expected, but what could possibly have been said apart from ... be tougher.

Not easy to be tough when perhaps your nature falls more towards gentle, but I can continue the process of toughening. I meet all my goals & outcomes, perform as requested, regarded by my colleagues (regarded as what I felt the need to ask?) All good apparently.
